Fall of the Incan Empire Paragraph

Fall Of the Inca empire Paragraphs

The Incans told other civilizations that if they didn't join with their empire that there would probably be a war between the 2 empires, the Incan's would probably win. When a new tribe joined with the Incan's they had to build a sun temple and could worship their gods but had to think that the Incan gods were superior. The Incan teachers would set up a village on the newly conquered land. Also, out of "respect" they took the sacred objects of the conquered people and took them back to the empire. If any of the people resisted, the Incan's would kill the emperor/ruler of the conquered civilization. In the 1530's the Incan's thought that they were ruling the whole entire world. Small pox killed many of the Incan's like the Aztecs.

A man named Francisco Pizarro and 160 other people came across the Incan's territory. The Incan's underestimated Pizarro and thought he wasn't a threat even though he kept coming back. He was friends with Hernan Cortez  and fought against the Mesoamerican for 30 years. Pizarro invited the Incan ruler to meet with him, the Incan leader only brought 5000 soldiers with no weapons. Pizarro told the ruler to give up his gods and the ruler laughed in his face, Pizarro attacked the 5000 soldiers and took the ruler hostage. The Incan ruler gave Pizarro lots of gold, but he still didn't let him go. The ruler was left in prison for plotting a rebellion, worshiping false gods, having to many wives and other crimes. The Incan civilization fell as a result of the rulers imprisonment.

Historical Fiction Narrative

I was born into a slave family, although I loved them, it seemed that my parents didn't love me. When I was 7 years old they had to sell me to another couple who lived a pretty pleasant life as Merchants. I usually wasn't treated badly when they made me carry the goods from from the house, cleaned up the house, or made me tend the twins. I thought that my life was as perfect as it could get, but I was wrong, it got worse much worse. The man who took care of me for 5 years suddenly got sick, the Priest told the merchants wife and children that there was nothing left to do except pray to the gods that he would get better. The next morning when I walked into the room, the merchant was dead, his face was pale with red-ish splotches all over his frail body.

The priest whispered,  " If you were a good girl, you would sacrifice yourself for your master!" I was so scared that I ran out of the house sobbing. The odds were not in my favor, if I went back they would make me sacrifice myself for my master, and if I ran away I would certainly get captured and killed! I had no time to make a decision, they were already searching for me. I decided to make a run for it, I ran as hard I could into the misty, dark rain forests.

Comment on the Primary Source Video

In my opinion the video was really informative and really awesomely drawn. I noticed that there  were a few problems with the timing of the pictures. Also, I noticed that some peoples papers were not in the video though. I really liked how smoothly the video went and how a lot of the drawings portrayed the text so well. Some people’s drawings were very simple and some of them were really detailed, I also liked that about the video. The drawings were a nice mixture of simplicity and detailed. I really hope that we can do some more of drawing and interpreting the text that Mr. Sanders gives us. :)

I pledge against cyberbullying

I pledge never to cyberbully anyone, if I see somebody posting a bad comment, I will report it and re-assure the person. Cyberbullying is really dangerous because it could lead innocent children to hurt themselves or even kill themselves or other people. I think we need to put an end to cyberbullying because the kids that killed themselves will get the justice they truly deserve.
